The European Union has introduced legislation requiring from importers of steel, aluminium, fertilisers, hydrogen, electricity, cement and certain related products (e.g. metal nuts and bolts) to report details of the greenhouse gas emissions ’embedded’ in the goods they import. During a transitional period from October 2023 to the end of 2025, importers are obliged under penalty to submit quarterly emissions reports, while during the definitive period (from the beginning of 2026) they will be obliged to purchase and redeem special certificates in amounts corresponding to the GHG (greenhouse gases) emissions released in the production of imported products.
Implementing the CBAM mechanism is not only a regulatory challenge but also a major administrative burden for companies. That is why CRIDO, as a leader in tax and regulatory advisory, partners with Green Reporting – a technology startup that has created the unique tool Reporting Assistant.
With this platform you can:

CRIDO + Green Reporting = comprehensive support – we provide advisory and regulatory safeguards, Green Reporting delivers technology and automation.
